So I took my 5 year old to the dentist today. She’s skipped visiting the dentist for the past two years. Yea I know, what a horrible mother I’ve been.

Anyhow, since she’s about to start school *sniff*, I scheduled an appointment to get her in and checked out. Especially since she has these horrible front teeth. See, when Genesis was born, to our surprise she already had two bottom teeth. They called them “milk teeth”. Whatever that means. They said they’d fall out and she’d get her real baby teeth when it’s time. Well, they never fell off. They did however start to rot. So now at 5 years old, my baby still has these two teeth she was born with and they’re all rotten and different colors. So we definitely wanted to get something done about it before she starts school.

So anyway, we went to the dentist and as you can see, she was REALLY nervous and a bit unsure.

But she calmed down after they put on “Wizards of Waverly Place” for her and let them out the X-Ray thingy’s in.

So she was so excited when she was done with the X-Rays, she thought we were done. But nope.

They gave her these cool looking shades so that the overhead light wouldn’t blind her

Then the Hygienist started doing her thing. Then I hear, “Umm Mom, have you seen these?”

And BAM, adult teeth. Before the baby teeth even fall out. See those yellow rotten teeth in the front? Those are the teeth she was born with that I was telling you about earlier. Right behind the tooth on our left, is her adult teeth. Crazy huh?

So anyway, her baby teeth will be pulled on Tuesday and Genesis will be receiving her very first visit from the Tooth Fairy on Tuesday night.
