I had a quick mini shoot this evening with this beautiful family. (Thanks BJ for sending them my way!)
When I walked up, I was so happy to see such beautiful faces. It was fun and these kids were seriously adorable!
This one seriously did it for me. My favorite shot of the night.

I am just in love with their little smirks here. How adorable are they?!

Loved this little guy.

My 5 year old had Rodeo Day at school today. She was required to wear western gear to school. I was very unsure of the cowboy boots and hat, but she ROCKED it and looked amazing. Don’t you agree?
Isn’t she adorable? LOL She posed herself and was twirling an invisible “cowboy rope”.

Love this

Super love this.

This one makes my heart sing.

Today I woke up and decided would be a picture day. From the moment we woke up, until I put them to nap just a bit ago, it’s been nonstop pictures. Real pictures. No posed shots, no planned shots, just shots that tell you about our day.
G is sick today. She’s been laying on this couch all day long watching TV, curled up in a blanket and burning up with a fever of 102.4. She doesn’t do sick well.

A saw me taking pictures of her and he wanted to be sweet. He kind of is sometimes. “G, me take care you. Ok mama? Ok? Feel better now G?” Genesis says, “No, I don’t A”

So A went away and continued playing with his cars.

“Here mom, you take pitchers of my cars ok mom”. Ok son. At least they gave me great eye contact.

While I make lunch, J is stowed away. If not then I have a 16 month old crawling up my leg while water boils on the stove. Basically watching Yo Gabba Gabba all the while sucking that delicious thumb of hers.

Something interesting must have happened because she gasped and held her mouth.

Tylenol starts kicking in and G attempts to get off the couch. What can I say? I love feet. And G has the perfect chubby feet. I love them!

I also love the way her hair curls up at the end of a braid

I get her to laugh.

And that is immediately ruined by A throwing a ball and hitting her in the face.

Lunch is done cooking and the baby gets released. Look at that face, the little tongue. She’s full of mischief.

Well maybe she just wanted that sippy.

Ahhhh, much better. She even sighed afterward. Now if that’s not a sleepy face, I don’t know what is. Immediately after this picture she says, “ny ny” Which means Night Night in her language.

But not before a step by step picture tutorial on how to remove socks.
First you spot the sock you want to remove, then you reach for it.

Once you’ve pulled it off, you look at mom with the cutest face just to make sure she’s not going to get after you.

Then you reach for the next sock and pull as HARD as you can.

That my friend is how you remove socks.

Then nap time. Oh how I adore nap time. Silence is golden.
