When it comes to photography, my son is absolutely neglected. He’s so difficult to photograph I end up just wanting to toss my camera in the ocean. Ok, not really. But he IS difficult, so I rarely even try.
I decided to take him out this evening and just let him do what he loves to do. GET DIRTY!

The Birth Of Roy Alexander | San Antonio Birth Photographer

On Tuesday, I had the HUGE honor of photographing this family’s new addition. I have never had such a great time at a session before but this was awesome. We shared so many laughs that day I think I gained a few more laugh lines. It was so great to spend time with such an amazing family.
I’ve posted this video several times on Facebook, but I keep getting reported for Copyright Infringement. I’m not sure how that applies since the images belong to me and the song I have permission to use (Renee & Jeremy). I’m sure it’s just someone trying to get under my skin. 
So anyway, I decided to post it on my blog since no one can pull it from here.

It Doesn’t Get Better Than This | San Antonio Baby Photographer

Early this evening I got to meet these wonderful girls. They were both so adorable and HILARIOUS! I had a great time with them! Editing this session has had me smiling all night! I love these girls!

I absolutely ADORE this shot.
How awesome is this upcoming series?! I cannot get enough of this little one. Her screams had me cracking up all throughout the session. SHE.WAS.AWESOME!

For those of you that are photographers, you know that photographing your own kids is the hardest thing in the world. Seriously, every time I try, it turns into the worst experience ever and makes me want to toss my camera into the ocean.
Anyway, I was desperate to shoot ANYTHING and ANYONE, so I took my kids out. Of course like always, trying to photograph the other two was a massive fail. So I settled with just shots of the baby. I love them.
I think this one below is going to go on a huge canvas.

I’m baaaack! The Lovely April | San Antonio Maternity Photographer

Before I get to the good stuff, just want to update you guys on some stuff.
It’s been a long two months. I had surgery, I had a ROUGH recovery but I’m better now!
I’m going to be taking a very limited amount of sessions from here on out. Until further notice, I’m only able to schedule the following type of sessions, Maternity, Births, and Newborns (Under 2 weeks old). If you would like to book a session feel free to shoot me an email or contact me using the contact form above or on my main website.
Also, EMAILS. For some reason, my email address michelle@michellelugo.com isn’t receiving a lot of emails. I’ve noticed that I’m receiving emails WAY after they are sent. So if you have emailed me, please know that I’m not ignoring you, I probably haven’t received them. I’m getting this all worked out, but in the meantime, please email me at info@michellelugo.com if you need to contact me.

I’ve known April since middle school! When she got pregnant we both knew that we wanted to get together to do her portraits. We FINALLY made it happen and met last week for her maternity session. I can’t wait to later photograph her birth and newborn photos!
I just love half faced mamas and their bellies! I’m queen of half face shots, lol.

Happy Birthday Giulia | San Antonio Baby Photographer

I can’t believe it’s been a year!
Wanira was a beautiful, glowing mama to be. You can see her maternity pictures HERE.
Then about a week after her maternity session, I get a phone call that Miss Guilia was here. We schedule her newborn pictures and she was just as beautiful as her mama. Newborn photos HERE.
Six months later, Christmas rolls around and we schedule holiday pictures with Guilia and her cousin. It was one of my favorite sessions EVER and two beautiful babies make ANY job enjoyable. You can see those HERE.
THEN, it came time for Guilia’s baptism and I was so honored to get to spend the day with them and capture this special time in Guilia’s life. You can view her baptism pictures HERE.
So now, Guilia is about to be a year old. We met up yesterday at the park and did portraits along with a cake smash. It was amazing.
I mean REALLY?! How beautiful is this face?!

What can I say? I honestly believe that I am blessed with the most amazing and beautiful clients.
I met this family on Friday and they were just great. The babies were SO precious! Seriously LOVED them!

Today I met this awesome family. Mom is actually a photographer here in the San Antonio area as well at Tres Jolie Portraiture. I met them this morning and they are seriously awesome. I had so much fun chasing her boys around, great workout too!

Hi. I found you over at CM. I am of a mom of 3 boys, so I really appreciate these candid portraits of him playing in the dirt. I absolutely love the PP on them as well. Were these shot with an 85mm? your bokeh is simply amazing, so is your depth of field.
