Remember THIS maternity session?

Well this little man is the result of that session. Isn’t he perfect?

Now this shot. My goodness. It makes my heart melt. I know it’s not technically perfect, but it’s perfect in every other way!

I really really really really love this family. I’ve been photographing them since M was only days old. He’s now a happy 18 month old and completely adorable. They ALL are. Seriously. Beautiful family.

Look at how adorable this little guy is!

The boys!

Now. This shot. Maybe a lot of people won’t understand it or see what I do. But I really love it.

Wow. It’s been such a long time since I’ve done a maternity session. It reminded me how much I love doing them.

I’ve known Julie since we were kids. We went to elementary, middle and high school together. We lost touch for a while but thanks to Facebook, we found each other again. And I am so glad. She contacted me a bit ago about doing her maternity session and of course I just had to! We had such a good time. Talked about our old elementary school teachers. It was so great looking back!

Julie, I hope you like your sneak peek. You did awesome and I can’t wait to met this little person in your belly.

When it comes to photography, my son is absolutely neglected. He’s so difficult to photograph I end up just wanting to toss my camera in the ocean. Ok, not really. But he IS difficult, so I rarely even try.

I decided to take him out this evening and just let him do what he loves to do. GET DIRTY!

I love these shots.

I think this is my favorite

For those of you that are photographers, you know that photographing your own kids is the hardest thing in the world. Seriously, every time I try, it turns into the worst experience ever and makes me want to toss my camera into the ocean.

Anyway, I was desperate to shoot ANYTHING and ANYONE, so I took my kids out. Of course like always, trying to photograph the other two was a massive fail. So I settled with just shots of the baby. I love them.

I think this one below is going to go on a huge canvas.

Today I met this awesome family. Mom is actually a photographer here in the San Antonio area as well at Tres Jolie Portraiture. I met them this morning and they are seriously awesome. I had so much fun chasing her boys around, great workout too!

Here’s a few for now. :)

I had a quick mini shoot this evening with this beautiful family. (Thanks BJ for sending them my way!)

When I walked up, I was so happy to see such beautiful faces. It was fun and these kids were seriously adorable!

This one seriously did it for me. My favorite shot of the night.

I am just in love with their little smirks here. How adorable are they?!

Loved this little guy.

This week’s I Heart Faces theme is Slice Of Life. When I read what it was, I immediately thought of this picture.

We were on at a shopping strip while on a mini vacation. It was a great day. The kids ate ice cream, chocolate covered bananas, cookies, got tons of new stuff from us and grandpa. I look over at my son and he’s dancing right on the sidewalk and he said to me, “I just can’t help it. I’m so happy mom!” I will never EVER forget that moment.

Head on over to I Heart Faces and check out the rest of the amazing entries.

Today has been an interesting day. My baby is 27 months old. I’m trying to teach her how to use the potty. She’s excited, I’m DEFINITELY excited. She’s doing so well. She’s had a few accidents here and there, but over all she’s doing really good.

I wanted to have a photo session with her today since it’s the first day she’s wearing “Big Gowl Panties.”

Before I start with her shoot, I get my son ready for naptime. So while I do that, I hand Juliette her potty book, sit her on the bed and tell her to wait quietly until I come back while I put her brother in bed.

I take my son to bed, walk back to my room and see this.

*SIGH*

Then one click of the shutter and the moment is gone. She turns back to look at me and I hear, “What you doing mama? You so siwwy. Take peeshers now?”

So I didn’t interrupt her. I just let her read and I shot. Sometimes, the unplanned pictures are the best.

This week’s challenge over on I Heart Faces is Anything But A Face. When I read the challenge, I immediately thought of this picture. It’s one of my favorites of my little one. Whenever she’s lacking clothes, she’s always poking at her outie and I adore it!
