Today I met this awesome family. Mom is actually a photographer here in the San Antonio area as well at Tres Jolie Portraiture. I met them this morning and they are seriously awesome. I had so much fun chasing her boys around, great workout too!

My 5 year old had Rodeo Day at school today. She was required to wear western gear to school. I was very unsure of the cowboy boots and hat, but she ROCKED it and looked amazing. Don’t you agree?
Isn’t she adorable? LOL She posed herself and was twirling an invisible “cowboy rope”.

On Saturday, I had the great honor to be there to photograph one of the most important events in a child’s life. Their baptism. I’ve been photographing this beautiful girl since she was in the belly of her mama. I was thrilled when I was asked to be there to photograph her baptism.

We’ve been pretty sick over here. REALLY sick. I hadn’t really picked up my camera much at all since none of us were feeling well. So once my baby was feeling a bit better and I could actually move, I took her out. Nothing more than just snaps, but they make me happy. I can’t believe my baby will be turning two next month. Time sure does fly.
She’s so lovely.
Like my reflection in her eye? Awesome huh.
And I just love this. Whenever you tell her to give you a kiss, she pushes out her little fish lips. Cutest.Thing.Ever.
And of course, I have to post one of her crankiness. She was sleeping soundly in her bed yesterday morning, and I had the bright idea to walk in there and snap a few of her sleeping. Well of course, my snapping woke her up. Nothing comforts her like that thumb. I just love this child.

A lot of you might remember THIS beautiful mama when I did her maternity pictures. Well baby Ethan arrived and he’s just the cutest little guy. He was so alert and awake this whole session and I just love the images that I got of him.

This week’s theme for I Heart Faces is “Photojournalism”. I thought this was the perfect photo.
It was raining this day and had been for about a week I believe. So my children were bored out of their minds. And my oldest just sat there, so pensive. I just had to take a picture.
